Dominique Miller

Dominique (also known as Nique), quickly realized how much she loved surfing the first time she hopped into the waters at Queens in Oahu. Not only did she find her community through surfing in Hawai’i, but she finally felt at home and was accepted in her own skin. By 2014, Nique had qualified for the APP World Tour as well as the World Longboard Tour and wasn’t stopping there. She began traveling the world for surfing, capturing her journey along the way on social media. Although it was a rocky road, she began signing with sponsors and secured a partnership with Billabong in 2019. Since then, Nique has continued to make waves and gain recognition for minority surfers.

You might have seen her at Duke’s OceanFest in 2023, where she rode with us to first place!
